Meet the Speaker: Dr. John F. Feller – Chief Medical Officer, HALO Dx
Dr. Feller has co-authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and is an editor of the textbook Shoulder Magnetic Resonance Imaging . He has given over 400 invited lectures worldwide on orthopedic, prostate and body MR imaging. Dr. Feller’s current position is the Chief Medical Officer for HALO Dx. Most recently, Dr. Feller started and leads an MRI-based prostate cancer detection and focal therapy program at HALO Dx that has provided care to over 3,000 men and he serves on the Founding Board of Directors of the Focal Therapy Society.

For this webinar, Dr. Feller and the Halo Dx group will be presenting on “ Latest Advances in Screening, Early Detection and Treatment of Prostate Cancer .”

After the success of our first patients webinar with Dr. Munir Jamal, we are organizing a second urology webinar for patients: “What is surgical robotics and how does it benefit urology patients” hosted by Dr. Kenneth Pace from St. Michael’s Hospital.

Our webinars are free and open to anyone interested in learning more about robotic-assisted surgery applied to urology. The goal of this webinar is to provide patients and their relatives with information about cancer care options. It will explain what Robotic Assisted Surgery is and will have details about the da Vinci robot, its use in urology, the benefits of robotic assisted surgery, and the differences between open and laparoscopic surgery. It will last 1 hour and will include Dr. Pace presentation of robotic assisted surgery, a patient’s story, as well as time for questions and answers.
