Examples of some important questions:
Is PSA screening for prostate cancer a positive public health measure?
What is the value of curative treatment to the individual patient or to the population at risk and how is it best measured?
Which of the several treatment variations are the most effective?
And does that even matter, given the rapidly changing patterns of practice?
The problem is that these are extremely difficult questions to answer. The ‘Why’ is interesting.

Partners in Prostate – Support Group for Partners

Some say the impact of prostate cancer on the partner or caregiver of the patient can be just as difficult as the impact on the patient.

Partners, wives, husbands, girlfriends, and partners of all kinds are welcome to join this partners-only meeting. 

This group is a safe space for partners of prostate cancer patients to meet and share their thoughts, questions, experiences, and ideas with other partners.

Advanced Prostate Cancer
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 12TH | 4:00pm Pacific (7:00pm Eastern)
Advanced prostate cancer patients include anyone with cancer that has spread (metastatic), with a castrate-resistant cancer (no longer responds to first-line ADT), or with a high-risk or complex diagnosis.

Active Surveillance Support Group

This group’s goal is to empower men newly diagnosed with low- or intermediate-risk prostate cancer to make informed decisions with their physicians on active surveillance as a non-invasive treatment option.
